Remember how I told you my boss was a dick?
A couple weeks ago he was busy firing someone and told me not to put any calls thru - including the owner of the company.
And of course the owner calls and demands to be put thru or else.
And then the dick comes in and threatens to fire me for insubordination.

I slept on it over the weekend and decided it was time to talk to the owner about this dick and I told him about all his dickspacular escapades and had documentation to support my claims. I figured if I was gonna get fired he might as well know what this dick had been up to.

Well, it's been pretty stressful here.

The owner told me yesterday I was being moved to the other division of the company with a cool supervisor, my pay and office would stay the same with a review in a few months (it's been 3.5 years), and I would no longer have to deal with the dick or his brown-nosing underling again.

This of course has really ****ed the dick off and he said bad things about me.
I cried all night. :)

Anyway, this small company is insane.
In my 7.5 years here I've seen over 60 people get fired or quit - but mostly fired.
This is the first instance of someone getting moved away from a dick and I feel blessed and even appreciated.
So although the dick is still here, at least it won't be in my face any more.

However, they're just setting you up so they can fail your review and fire you shortly, you know.

Other than answer the freaking phone because they wouldn't replace the pregnant receptionist 2 years ago, I'm the Media Director here.
Short for Art Guy.
Responsible for creation and maintenance of all manner of marketing materials.
I would have left long ago but it pays almost twice what the Tulsa market will bear.

This guy throws his paper towels on the floor in the men's room and leaves coffee spills and empty coffee in the kitchen.

Not to mention -
when the underling supervisor first came on board she was freshly divorced and like rubbing my back when she came in my office.
I don't wear a wedding ring and I told her like how I loved my wife and stuff and it stopped.
She ended up sleeping with one of the programmers.
He was the one they fired the other day.
Like the sands of time, so are the days of our lives.

I'm hoping for a fresh start with 80% less penis involvement.

Hoping you the best in whatever you do, no one should have to work for such a dick. Why are they always firing people, can no one do the job?
