no, I said I guess because I dont really know all the facts involved in leading up to the team dismissal.
I guess the coach was trying to bring a degree of respect to the rest of his team and showing that no one individual is greater than the spirit of the team.

Now if it was something personal or unfair (which I dont know) then I was adding the disclaimer "I guess"

Coaches that take "correct" disciplinary action on their team players get a raised level of respect from me.

Not trying to a smart alec in this answer, nor was I trying to be in the first comment.
