In 2002, OU was much better than Indiana, having beaten the eventual national champion Maryland by 16 points. Suddenly, OU's point guard is hurt, we slip and slide to a loss in the Final Four to IU. IU's coach does not meet the expectations after that year and is gone just three seasons later. Kelvin cheats at OU to raise his profile before he flies the coop. Kelvin does not have to follow a legend at IU and takes over for one of the premier programs, which means one of the few places where the basketball coach's name is widely known, but the football coach could walk down the street naked and nobody would notice if he was chilly or excited. I smell conspiracy. Kelvin has been IU's intended coach since he game them the game in 2002 to show he was serious about that affair.
