King Kong is on at the $1 theater near my hotel. Should I go see it?

Really. I was looking through the movie times and saw where it was 3 hours long.

That might be enough to make up my mind for me. 3 hours in a cheap theater in Albuquerque that wasn't too clean the last time I went to a show there or just rent it for a few dollars more and watch it at home on the big screen.

Hmmmmmm.

You know you can like do stuff at home a lot easier. I'm just sayin'. Stan tells me that anyway. :mack:

Hell, I paid 7 to see it. It's definitely worth a dollar. It didn't seem 3 hours long to me.

more like 5 hours to me. Seriously, worse movie I saw in 2005.

Its out on DVD today I think. Just rent it and you can look at porn online, do lawn work, or build a model airplane for the first 2 mind-numbingly boring hours of the flick.

Being the gazillionth remake of an old movie, and Hollywood seems to have
genuine problems coming up with new ideas, I'd say keep your dollar.

I've decided not to make a copycat of this thread. It would get buhleted in 2 seconds.

I think I'm gonna go watch Syriana for a buck instead . . .

Go see it. One hour late.

Trust me.

The movie doesn't really start until sixty minutes in. They spend that long ****ing around and getting to Skull Island.

I agree with the above poster.

The King Kong DVDs were sold out at Kroger today. I'm not sure how I'll sleep tonight.

I've scared the beeswax out of my daughter while we were watching Kong grab the girl...

That made it worth the price of the rental...:D

I gotta disagree with all the posters that spend 6 hours a day on SF.com and think they can't handle the full Kong movie.

They got drugs for ADD people.
