That's an unfair standard for pretty much everyone. He's better than Johnny Cash's son though.

He aint his daddy.Nope. Though it was cool he played him in WtL. My mom is a huge Waylon fan, so I grew up listening to it a lot. Shooter sounds nothing like him, but he's not trying to either.

There was only one Waylon.
To Shooter's credit he embraces his heritage while still trying to build his own idenity. It works better than you might think.
