Well, I say that you have nothing, and I mean NOTHING on Norm when it comes to being cheap. We bought our new car tonight and Norm took his calculator with him. When they give us the "final" numbers, Norm takes his calculator out. We had a difference of $10.00. So Norm asks where the extra $10 is....come to find out it was a finance fee or something. The guy was impressed, but at the same time we all joked about it. It was pretty hilarious, actually.

It's the fee for having to stand there and explain what the extra fee is for.

I like seeing people buy something at the mall that is on sale for 10% off and using their credit card that charges 20% when they could have bought the same thing at Target for 10% less than the 10% off sale at the mall was and saved all the trouble of finding a parking spot, walking 5 miles and fighting a million people.

Man that was the longest sentence I ever typed. :D

I'm not cheap when it comes to buying things for myself. If I won powerball tomorrow I could blow through the money in a week flat.

However, I'm VERY cheap when buying things for other people. I remember when I was 12 and my parents gave me $100.00 to go X-mas shopping. I didn't buy anything that wasn't like 50% off then I took my savings and bought myself a new computer game. I am a Republican.

It just occured to me that the word I'm looking for to describe myself isn't "cheap when it comes to other people" it's "selfish."

That is all.

Yeah, the word for that isn't really "Republican." It's "Kid with a bruised ***."

Hah...yes there was definitely that. I certainly didn't do it again. :D

Yes and no. I like good quality stuff, but I'm rarely going to pay full price for it.

On big ticket items I'll take months researching before I buy.

I'd have asked about the $10 bucks as well. :D

I like finding a good bargain. Got a pair of Lacoste jeans for 70% off last week. It makes me feel giddy and such.

You know, some people (like me) use credit cards for everything they can, but pay it off every month. Doesn't matter what the interest rate is when you do that.
