Some nutcase was in a high-speed chase from the California Highay Patrol,
driving insanley - through the right of way, opposing lanes, hit a couple of
cars, was surely caught, kept going, swerving through intersections.

then a train was in his way, so he took a right into a neighborhood. He
tried to run a curb and get onto another road, and hit a tree, then
took off on foot. Dude was moving, but as always, you can't outrun
the Motorola.

I was watching this off and on at the gym. Some of the maneuvers that guy made were awesome.

Fox was carrying it live, then 7pm and call and they switched to the O'Reilly Factor. I loudly muttered '*******' and some dude near me laughed.

Perfect end to the chase, (I wish.)

Cop, to handcuffed speeder: "Sir, is there a medical emergency?"
Jerk Driver: "Nope, just wanted a thrill."
Cop's gun: "Bang! Bang! Bang!..........Bang!" (knee, groin, gut.........head)

Roadside summary executions, televised, o'course, would do much to eliminate this crap.
Added benefit: No recidivism.

And I mean EVERY word of it!
