Every day on my way to work I pass this scary little delapidated house that has a big sign in the front yard that says "Hydrocolon Therapy." Now, there is NEVER a car there - never any life signs. I picture Nurse Ratchett in her starched cap and uniform greeting you as you come in, directing you to a stainless steel room with a stainless steel table for your "treatment." I see her squeaking down the hall in her orthopedic nurses shoes dragging a garden hose behind her as she gleefully tells you to bend over and grab your ankles for your treatment. Yikes!! So tell me - what the heck kind of therapy is this really? Medical people - I'd like to hear from you!!;)

Also called colonic irrigation or colonic hydrotherapy, the treatment is similar to an enema but more extensive:eek:

What's probably more disturbing is the water hose trailing into the house...

I guess picturing the nurse using a garden hose is better than picturing her using a pressure washer.

I'd bet there's no nurse involved. Probably no real medical training by anyone in there. You should stop and ask. :mack:
