Not generally a good idea to buy land with someone you plan to divorce later.

that is all.

What if your future ex earns several times more money than you, and there would have been no way for you to buy that land on your own?

How 'bout then?

Then clearly you'll lose because she will have the wealth-induced luxury of litigating the p1ss out of you until you are either too broke or simply don't care anymore that she gets the land.

Thus endeth the lesson.

what if you aren't married?

that adds complexities which often lead to perverted outcomes. Avoid buying property with shack-mates whenever possible.

that is all.

Hence, 90% of the murder mysteries detailed by Bill Curtis on A&E are spousal killings. Personally, I would rather be divorced and live in my mom's basement than risk being arse-up in prison, but that's me.

don't those generally just involve the monies and property that each party has before the marriage?

If he calls me fat I get the house. He cheats I get his balls.

Whatever man those lawyer types are smart they could fanagle something like that.

Yeah, prenups work not so well.

Even better, if you own property at all, especially a domicile, don't get married to someone you may divorce. Bad idea.
