NORMAN — The Sweet 16 game between No. 2-seed Oklahoma and No. 3-seed Stanford will be played Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN HD with Dave O'Brien on play-by-play, Ann Meyers on color commentary and Beth Mowins as the sideline reporter.

OU advanced to the program's fourth Sweet 16 with a 86-70 win over BYU on Monday night. Courtney Paris led the way with 30 points and 15 rebounds, while Britney Brown had a career night with nine points and a personal-best 10 assists.

OU canned 10 three-pointers while shooting 51.7 percent form the floor, including 58.1 percent in the second half. Erin Higgins nailed five 3-pointers, marking the 11th time this season she has made four or more treys in a game.

The Sooners and Cardinal will meet in the NCAA Tournament for the third time. OU reached the 2001 Sweet 16 with a 67-50 win over the Cardinal in the Norman Sub-Regional. Stanford got is revenge in Tucson in the 2004 Tournament, when it eliminated OU with a 68-43 win.

The game features two of the most prolific scorers in the NCAA this season.

OU's Courtney Paris is averaging 21.8 points, to go along with an NCAA-best 14.9 rebounds per game. Paris recently became the first player in NCAA history to record 700 points, 500 rebounds and 100 blocks in a season. Her current totals are 762 points, 523 rebounds and 116 blocks.

Paris is averaging 28.5 points and 13 rebounds in the tourney this season. She is also shooting 79.3 percent (23-29) from the floor and 64.7 percent (11-17) from the free throw line.

Stanford is led by sophomore guard Candice Wiggins, who is averaging 21.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Wiggins helped Stanford advance with 34 points against Florida State in the second round. She has scored 55 points in two tourney games.
