According to a statement released by U.S. network Comedy Central, the season premiere will mark "the triumphant homecoming" of ladies' man and school cook James "Chef" McElroy....

"While [main characters] Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman are thrilled to have their old friend back, they notice that something about Chef seems different. When Chef's strange behavior starts getting him in trouble, the boys pull out all the stops to save him."

This is gonna be sweeet.

You think they are going to make a few slams at Scientology?

Perhaps?

i haven't been this excited about a TV show since Marcia's world was destroyed when she got braces. Her self-esteem is crushed and she now feels "ugly, ugly, ugly!" in spite of her family's assurances. Marcia sinks to the lowest depths of pre-teen angst when her date to the school dance cancels on her, inspiring the family to rush to her aide with such ego-boosters as compliments and arranged dates.

I do hope that they make fun of Tom "L. Ron Hubbard" Cruise while they are at it. Tom actually used his clout to prevent the Scientology show from being rebroadcast.

Can anyone tell me when it's on?

Yeah, 12 pm on cinemax. Or showtime. Either one should provide lots of entertainment for the kids. And lots of questions in the morning.

Yeah, I was sort of cringing as to what they were going to subject him to. I started to reason that they wouldn't roast the guy totally as he was THE NAME attached to the show since the beginning.

Same thing when they caught Saddam in his spider hole and within a week they had the episode of him being the leader of Canada.

Sodomizing children. Outstanding. It was a juvenile slap at those wackos in a way that did not explicitly call them out, but we knew exactly who they were targeting. I didn't laugh as much as I have with other episodes, you could tell that they pulled it together quickly, but none the less it was genius. No wonder so many movie stars are into that wacked out religion, it fits them perfectly. I am not surprised that the religion can't take a joke but can dish them out - just like hollywood.

yep, i thought they might do that before i saw it

and they usually do the shows in about a week

they do the animation themselves on a computer

between the software and hardware, they are using a fraction of what it can do, i remember seeing a clip of them transitioning into some insane 3D rendered stuff to show it off

I kept thinking how exhausting it must've been to go through all the soundbytes of Chef over the last 10 years to get enough for the show. The early ones probably took 5 minutes, after that probably a bit more. But it was hilarious how obvious it was starting out.

I wonder if they'll ever bring back Darth Chef.

Oh, I get it now. But wouldn't that hurt him as much as the studio? And does MI:3 really even need a marketing campaign?

Not having Tom Cruise involved in the marketing would probably help, not hurt.

Now I am starting to understand Eyes Wide Shut. That little club that he visits in the movie was just a glimpse into his Scientology, only there are no women.
