I did.
Anyone who talks about the "luck of the Irish" sure didn't see this year's ND basketball team. I've never seen a team as snakebit all year as the Irish. Louisville, Villanova and a few other teams beat them at the buzzer and ND lost a ton of close games.

I hate ND.

That last-second shot was awesome. Completely busted play, and the guy rolls one in off the front of the rim. Sheer luck.

The new year has not been kind to the Irish.

Here are the records of the 2005-2006 Notre Dame Football and Men's Basketball teams:

2005: 9-2 (FB) 9-2 (MBB)
2006: 0-1 (FB) 7-12 (MBB)

Both programs combined to go 18-4 before the new year and 7-13 after the new year.
