I'm not laughin'....I saw them beat a #17 ranked team about 5 years ago....they beat LSU AT Baton Rouge within the last four years.

MNC notwithstanding, I think Watson is the better coach of the Brown brothers.

I was there for all four years of Watson's tenure at Vandy.

I would not agree with your assessment.

Fair enough. Forgot about that little stretch.

either way, with what happened this past year I'd rather play MTSU on 9/2 as our first game and have UAB come in 9/23.

Yeah, don't remember when that was, but I was there for that game. Damn, it was a surprise.

Sigh.... Josh Booty and his 4 ****ing interceptions. You guys know about those Evangel players. What's Brent Rawls doing now?

It happened in 2000.... not quite within the last four years.

LOL don't be worried

UAB may be a mediocre squad, but they certainly don't have the hosses to hang with OU.

True, but I also remember laughing at the audacity of 21 other non-conference foes that came in thinking they were going to beat us. Statistically we would be right WAY more than wrong if we continued to laugh at these people. Plus, if Lee Corso has taught us nothing else (and he hasn't), it is that having someone to laugh at is a good thing.

Soften 'em up for us, Blazers, the Huskies sure as heck won't.

The important thing to remember is Chuck Long and his 10 play game plan for the opener is gone. Hopefully Wilson will open it up right away with at least 20 plays.

And this is the single most exciting aspect of the new season, IMHO....can't wait to see how the play-callin' works out.

I remember how we made fun of TCU fans when they thought they had a chance to beat us...
