They are probably realizing that keeping shows people like might be a little better business than constantly paying to develop new crappy shows.

Hopefully, but a couple years off would screw with things more with live action because of the aging of the actors, especially Maybe and George Michael. You can get away with a long hiatus with animation better.

guess not :(

I hope Amy Wong hasn't packed on extra weight these last few years.

Fox is amazing in how they consistently screw around great shows by moving them around all the time and not allowing them to develop an audience while promoting the crap out of whatever ****box reality show they're doing.

Don't get me started on that. They are always doing that. They tried to do that with that 70s show too, and it ended being one of their top rated shows. Heck, I quit watching it after a few seasons because I thought they ruined it. I don't even want to think about Arrested Development.

Actual new episodes start airing a week from today, 6/24/10!!!

Comedy Central has been promoting it fairly well. Here's hoping it sticks around for another good solid run. It was a highly under-rated piece of genius from Matt Groening.

Hooray for Zoidberg!!!!

It was so underrated because freaking Fox would put it on at 6pm on Sundays. It was always getting pre-empted by late running NFL games.

unfortunately not...

theres a big difference in having voice talent come in and lay down audio while an animation staff puts a show together and rehiring an entire production and acting crew for a show that had a limited, but hard core, following.

I'd recommend Modern Family for those that enjoyed Arrested Development. I know a lot of die hard Arrested Development fans think Modern Family is vastly overrated, but I find myself laughing just as much as I did at Arrested Development.

The guy that plays super flaymboyant Cam (straight in real life) is one of the best characters on the show. So glad they found another vehicle that works for Ed O'Neil. He has been living in the Married w/Children shadow pretty much ever since. Also enjoy the characters of Phil and Manny. Plus you have the smoking hot Sofia Vergara to look at.

Man, that show was ALWAYS pre-empted or moved to different nights. It was tough to track the show down to keep watching it.

It's amazing it lasted as long as it did. It was genius for the first couple seasons, but I got tired of the mom.
