front door

anybody had any success using home depot or lowes to replace the front door?

my house faces the west, and half of my door is glass.....not to mention everybody in the hood has the same door......but the afternoon sun blazes thru that glass and is hell on my a/c unit

looking to get a more energy efficient door with less glass

Don't let Home Depot do any labor for you. They will just hire the same guy you'd hire and mark the labor up about 50%. Where are you located?

replaced all of my doors from Home Depot. Got one that is all glass with window blinds built in. I can open or close blinds plus there is UV protection in the glass. cost was about $200.00. I did the labor

We had Lowes replace the side garage door. It had the built in blinds too. They did a good jorb.

My neighbors bought a door from Home Depot and had them install it. They did a crappy job.
