smash a clove of garlic and dice it. mix it in with the ground beef when making patties.

no, see, I have to put the cheese next to the meat, so it gets all melty (and I usually put it on the grill). And the mayo can't be on the bottom bun, cause the meat heats it up.

(I have a feeling this thread will get ugly in 5...4...3...)

The bacon goes under the cheese so it will stay in place. Mayo is less important than mustard so it goes on the bottom with the onions.

I can deal with that. I was referring to boomersooner28's post though.

I skipped over his post because he puts steak sauce on his burgers, and under the cheese, no less. :D

Toasted Bun
Mayo
Barb-Q-Sauce
Pickle
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Meat
Mayo

Perfect Theta Burger - Spicy BBQ Sauce and sharp cheddar cheese complimented by the tangy mayo and dill pickles. And as a bonus the fats in the mayo keep the meat from making the bun soggy!

Or, substitute the tangy white viscous substance of your choice.

Actually, a perfect Theta burger would have hickory sauce, not bbq.
...but bbq sauce works in a pinch

I clicked on this thread and then realized I couldn't care less how the rest of you eat a burger.

I didn't realize I was that adamant about not caring until it was too late.
