Is anyone else offended by this? I think the price is ridiculous, but then again, the actual seat prices are doggone reasonable. My guess is the team gets a cut of the concessions and the city makes its money on the back end.
And I think the beers are 20 oz, which is more than a pint, but still way overpriced for domestic water.
I even kinda get miffed at paying 4.50 for a Shiner at the Brick, but at least that's more reasonable.

yet you'll pay $5 for a coke at OU MS as long as it's in a "fancy" cup

6.50 at Minute Maid park in Houston (that's for a pint)
6 bucks at the OU/USC Orange Bowl
5 bucks for a 12 oz bottle of Shiner at IAH
5 bucks/4 euros for a beer on an international flight
That seems about right for a sporting venue.

That's why you get a mixed drink up in the club level. $6.50, but they mix em strong. :)

I nearly fired our cleaning lady at discovering she ran the dishwasher after putting said cups in it!
They were the Nat'l Champ cups, btw.

Pretty sure they were $6 at the Cotton Bowl for a 12(?)oz bottle.

What is this "club level" of which you speak? The proletarian masses know nothing of your bourgeois words.

might as well drink gasoline. it's actually a bit cheaper in this case, and probably tastes pretty much the same.

Haha.. I will have to admit though, back in the day when I was poor, I drank it a couple of times.. ugh, never again.
That and Crazy horse(malt liquor) are two of the worst things I have ever drank.

You can easily get your liquor fix at the Courtyard prior to going into the Ford Center. :texan:
Or if you have season tickets, you can get into the York Ice House and not pay the concourse prices! Or you can have someone buy shots for you.

I can't imagine why anyone would pay 6 bucks for a beer, even if it is 20 ozs.
