I'm sitting here filling out some paperwork that asks for my office address. I started to write my home address, caught it before I wrote the first number but then couldn't come up with the numbers for my office. Knew the street no problem but had to look at some incoming mail to remember the damn numbers!?!?!?!:(

I also have had my cell phone for a year and still have to look at it every time I give it out.:texan:

I think I may have intermittant retardation.

That's how you know you're getting older. Every one has those moments, but as you get older, they just get closer and closer together. :D

We moved into a new house last August. I still can't reliably recall our home phone number.

I know my cell number, and which speed dial buttons to push to reach my wife, but that doesn't make it any less embarrasing when I can't come up with the land line number on demand. :O

I usually blank on my phone number because I never use it.

at the video store they always ask for the last 4 digits of my phone number (for teh computer) and i usually have to think for a couple seconds for the same reason. usually, i have to filter through my phone number as a kid, my dad's phone number, old gf, etc.

I never remember my phone number at the store. Usually I just give them time & temp's number or a number from a commercial that I remember. ;)

Although I frequently have to check my cell phone to remember that number, I can tell you that when I was in first grade (about the time of Brown v. Board of Education) my home number was 7-7419.

Got you all beat. Half the time I can't remember how old I am.

We used to prank call that number and ask for the stick guy who did their commercials. :O

Tall Paul?

Not very amusing or original now, but when I was 10 years old, I thought it was hilarious!!!

If I ever get ID'd to buy beer/liquor/cigars sometimes the clerk will look at your ID and ask how old you are. My first reaction is 21, since that's how old you need to be. Then I have to think about it. :O

I've blanked on this before.

27, no wait, thats what I was last year I think. 28? no, thats right, I turned 29 just last month!

I don't know why they look at me all suspicious when I do that. thats why I've just gone with the not shaving method. the closer one looks to grizzly adams, the less likely he is to be even asked to produce any verification of age whatsoever.

I do that, but that's because I just had a birthday and forget that the number has changed.
