He caught his first fish!!!! We went to Robbers Cave State Park for a few days. efore leaving today, Norm and the boy decided to go fishing. After about an hour, the boy got one. He was so excited! To top that though, we had seen the man that runs the Nature Center. He told us that if we were to catch something, he needed some for his aquarium. So, the boy's first fish is now swimming in the aquarium of the Nature Center. How cool is that!?!

Pics coming soon. :)

I am so proud of that boy.

Yay, Norm Family!

Except Norm - I don't think he had anything to do with this kind of luck...heh.

I can't believe you would subject that fish to swim in its own urine and feces.

Sincerely,

Yeah, I don't know enough about fish to even know what it is. Someone asked if we had caught any and I said yes. When asked what kind, I replied "A fish." I had to ask the guy in the nature center what it was. It sure seemed to have a bunch of teeth...

I never was much of a fisherman. I had to buy a new rod because I haven't used one in about 10 years. I can't find most of my fishing stuff.

Oh, and I didn't catch anything. We both got a lot of nibbles though. Him catching something was enough though.

Another thing is we had a late lunch at McDonald's (there isn't much else in Wilberton) and damned if Chuck Long and his daughter didn't walk in and get some food. I live in Norman and I never see the guy, then I go to Wilberton and there he is. And we were the only ones there, so all the customers in that McDonald's at around 2:00 were from Norman.

We were wearing more OU stuff than they were too.

I thought about it (since we've never been), but the timing didn't work out right. Also, we went through Eufaula instead of going down the turnpike.

I am from Krebs. (a genuine Krebian)

The oldest and biggest place is Pete's. (where they make the Choc beer)
http://www.petes.org/

The next oldest and fanciest is the Isle of Capri (only a block away from Pete's) http://www.isleofcapriofkrebs.com/contactinformation/

The newest place and most casual is Roseanna's

Congrats on the fish. I loved going to Robber's Cave as a kid!
