Did anyone her BBJ pick Oral Roberts to upset Memphis in the 1 v. 16? I don't think it is going to happen. Not a real bold pick by him. He has nothing to lose. I didn't hear him talk about it. What were his reasonings?

I'm not going so far as to pick them, but I have heard more than 1 commentator say that Oral Roberts is probably the best ever #16 seed, and that they match up pretty decently with Memphis.

ORU probably is one of the more athletic 16 seeds you'll see but they'll still get beat by 20 or 30 or so.

a 16 seed for them was pretty surprising. looks like the committee looked at their record and nothing else. id love to see them beat Memphis, although I dont think theyve got much of a shot

Memphis is a 3-4 seed at best, ORU is 11-14.

If a 16 is going to upset a 1, this is as good of a matchup as you can get.

Tulsa kept Memphis on their toes. Who's to say ORU can't do the same?

Almost happened in 1989. Twice as I recall. Georgetown was in a close one, and we won by 1 point over a 16.
