take his own poop and put it in the hole he dug. that usually stops them from doing it again.

chicken wire works for sure. their own poop only works for that place. Then they find somewhere else to dig.

mine, anytime they dig i go right out there and unload. kinda humiliating when the neighbors are watching but highly effective :O

This is painful to them but you should only have to do it once...cut his front nails real shot to where the bleed...the4n when he goes to dig it will hurt....this is what we did to our Pointers when they dug...some people dont like to do this but it does work!

Pee in that spot. Your dog will see you as the alpha male and will not pee on your marked territory.

No way, too cruel. My Golden tried to dig his way out of the kennel at the dog sitter's - he wore his nails to the quick in 36 hours. He could hardly walk for weeks, on antibiotics and prednisone for a month. No a good choice IMO.
