Well, it's not a first date in the sense that I've known her for a few years and have hung out with her many times. It is one in the sense that we've never dated before. Other than TX country music, Bud Light and cookies and sweets I don't know what all she's into.

It's good food, a little pricey, but the atmosphere is good, if it's nice weather you can eat on tha patio.

It's a fun area but can get pretentious at some places.

Oh by the way.. there is always the old, reliable stand-by. Mi Cocina in West Village... a couple of Mamba Taxis and the game is on.

Or.. if you really want to go "elitist, intelligensia, man in touch with his feelings"... take her to Nobu in the Crescent.. (great grub there).. or... Stephen Pyle's new place... www.stephanpyles.com (http://www.stephanpyles.com)... great atmosphere, but a bit pricey.. then..

some of the little art galleries around the Crescent and on Fairmount sometimes have an "art crawl" on Thursday and/or Friday nights. You go from one gallery to the next...

If you do this.. wear black (good, black clothes)... and prepare yourself to be irreverent with a bit of snob thrown in.

Oh dude the Nobu on South Beach is beyond awesome. Do Nobu then over to the Delano for drinks.

Alright sports fans, we went to eat at Primo's and then to Pete's Deuling Piano Bar in FW. Had a blast. Date #2 in the near future.
