Iggy said he smelled a lot of smoke but i don' tthink he's found anything about it yet. just wondering if I should be worrying about my house burning down while i'm gone...

TIA

I'm not sure, but the whole TX panhandle seems to be on fire.

North Norman...the air is thick, hazy, and smells horrible. There must be a fire close. This cannot be good.

Yeah, but...this can't be from a fire 200 miles away. It's gotta be much closer.

We could smell it here in Edmond.

It looked hazy outside.

Last night in east Norman, I could smell smoke. It was quite heavy.

I could smell smoke in McKinney this morning. Same thing happened when you hillbillies set most of OK on fire a couple of months ago.

Okay, it must have been west saxeT. Man, oh man. Hope FaninAma, David Earl and the rest of you who are in the area are alright.

I was running through our house checking every room....blowing out candles, making sure I didn't leave the curling iron on, or the oven on.... Checked the garage to make sure everything was ok....

My husband is so stopped up and couldn't smell a thing...he thought I was losing my mind until we walked outside. Here in MWC it was pretty hazy and the stench was crazy!!

I did the same thing last night, checked the outlets, lamps, candles. Then realized the smell was coming from outside. Opened a window could smell the smoke and see it was hazy here too.

I live just north of downtown OKC.

Still not sure where the fire was?

I was inside in all day Sunday, windows closed. About 7 PM I started smelling smoke and it kept getting stronger. About 9 I figured I should check out whether Lawton was burning down the smell was so strong. I went outside and the smoke haze was heavy. For a minute I was actually concerned.

El Reno was on fire

my boss could smell it at his house in blanchard. He turned on the news and they were saying "Don't call 911 unless you SEE fire....the whole metro is in smoke, and we are flooded with calls."
