State of Oklahoma said I didn't file them. I can't imagine why or how I didn't do it, since I was doing it electronically. I know I filed federal, but, apparently, not state.
Now, can't find the hard copies. Dammit, I'm usually good about this ****. I hope I didn't give my only copy to the bank when we filed for our home loan.

How big of **** am I in

Check to the State for taxes?
Deposit record of refund....

If you go ahead and turn yourself in, you might get a lighter sentence.

First thing I would search for if I couldn't find my return.

If you e-filed you should be able to get copies from your account. It's worth a try anyway.

I just got the same letter... I didn't file in 2001 b/c I had no W-2s, was still living with the parents and didn't work that year. 2002 I guess I didn't file, because I have the federal stuff here but none of the state paperwork.

yeah, 'cause tax evaders are pretty low on the pecking order in prison, thus they usually lose the coin toss and end up receiving.

Do you have your records separated by year?
If so, look in the 2002 file - you may have pulled it out to do the 2002 return and just crammed it in with those papers. And look at 2003 too.....
