I got my hair done this morning so I decided to get my drivers license renewed while I looked good. That picture is fine, but the passport one they took is not.

I don't think either of mine are great.... which reminds me. I think my passport has expired. Not that I really need to go out of the country for anything...

I thought they were good for ten years (mine is).? Did you get it when you were 12?

It used to be that your passport was only good for 5 years if you got it while you were under 18. They changed that a couple of years ago, I think.

I think that's right. I had to get another one when I turned 17 or 18 when the one I got when I was 12 expired.

my passport photo is stupid too. the lady told me not to smile so i look kinda ****ed off. of course it doesn't matter since i accidentally WASHED my passport. I have to get a new one anyway

Are you taking photo-taking cues from me now SBSB?Your photos always look good though. You're naturally tan, so you don't look all washed out. Do you have to get a passport photo done at a tag agency, or can my coworker take one?

moto foto takes them too. if you're getting a passport, the downtown post office takes your picture for you.

No you're right, I don't tend to look washed out. I have been told I look like a convict though. It's not my fault "Smile!" sounds like "Don't smile" to me.

I think I got mine taken at whatever office issues the passports, but lots of other places do it. Osco down the street from me does it, so there probably isn't a big deal about getting someone else to take your photo. Just don't slip up and give them your avatar. ;)
