FWIW, I shudder to think of the future of the judiciary if some of my classmates end up on the bench.

Getting my wife over here was enough of a pain. It took over a year with the help of a friend who is a congressional aide for a major US senator. We're still trying to get her last name right on the permenant resident card, so it's still not finished.

The system on all areas, illegal and legal immigration, is broke and the only way to fix it is to scrap it and start over.
