So much to choose from this weekend in T-town. R. Kelly, The Strokes, Eagles of Death Metal, Morrissey, Merle Haggard...

Also logistically speaking, closer to Carrie's childhood home.

Or they just cancel each other. I threw them in to illustrate it's pretty eclectic around here this weekend for a hillbilly burg.

I don't know why Morrissey would go to a state where anyone is ostracized for thinking the way he does.

Bri must be in heaven tho.

Never heard of Eagles of Death Metal, but I have less than zero interest in attending any of those other concerts.

I've been to both zoos within the last year. Tulsa is up at the moment. But I think they were working on okc's. it was kinda crappy though.

also let me say it was the first time I'd been to any kind of zoo since I visited okc's back in circa '82 and threw french fries to the monkey folk.

We're getting all those a day or two after or before Tulsa.

We're getting Merle and Dylan in April.

I need to buy a digital camera. People say OKC has no hills just hasn't been to the right part of OKC. Sure, we don't have the mountainous peaks that Tulsa has, but if you drive down some of the hills on Coltrain Road just east of the tower farm, you'll **** your pants if the road is icy.

oh..

I tell you who has fun in snowstorms, though. Has anyone seen that high rise apartment building north of downtown Tulsa? It's north of highway 412/244 junction. There are smaller apartment buildinds there and they have a damned slope that would make people in Aspen jealous. I bet those babay welfare kids just have a blast on that thing.

I was there last Friday. I tried to find a longterm parking spot last Tuesday and it was almost impossible due to all the springbreak travelers. There's just not enough parking at the OKC airport (and while looking for a spot a service truck pulled out in front of me and another
driver running me off the road and the other driver skidded sideways). The terminals OK (even though I was searched by TSA because of my dayum ACL brace)

I effing hate the TSA.

They're on par with Joe C's gestapo army.

I agree, I was searched in Tampa too, by a Female TSA employee atleast. The hardware in and on my leg will be a travelling curse for me for now on.

Did you look in the garage?

I usually park in the west covered lot.

Dallas pwns OKC and Tulsa in a great way, and you can get there a lot quicker from OKC (without having to pay a toll). And if you feel like it, you can take the train. So suck it, Green Country.

How much is that per day/week? What you pay per week in the garage at Will Rogers is what you'd pay per day at some airports.

5day/25week

Just make sure you don't park in the hourly section of the garage.

I had a friend who did who had a bill that was around $100 or more. She has big breasteses, so they adjusted the rate for her. :P

That's the same as the garage, and I've never seen the garage full past the third level.

True, the only times that I've seen it full, is during spring break, or when OU is in a BCS game.

I'll say again. The Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, KS totally pwns any other zoo I've ever been to anywhere. I've heard people say they were unimpressed with the San Diego Zoo after seeing the one in Wichita.

Yea, the garage was full, I didn't realize I scheduled this trip during Spring Break. I have a handicapp sticker and finally found one of those spots open so I drove to the checkout gate and told her (the attendent) the spot was open after showing her my sticker. She then radios the lot attendents and tells them, then I drove back around the lot and they flagged me down and let me park in the spot. Then I went inside and TSA performed their cavity search..........:(
