The Homey household likes Kellie Dawn Pickler best. She's cute, sings good, overcame a lot of adversity (her Pop's in prison) and is so hillbilly she makes Ellie Mae Clampett seem like Martha Stewart.

yawn, considering idol went up against 3 networks best programming all on the same nite and smoked all 3 in the ratings, i'd say there's more of us watching than those of you that arent

EXACTLY. That was the dumbest sh*t I've ever seen. Bucky and Kevin a.k.a. Chicken Little shoulda been gone, not Gideon. Oh well, probably proves what Simon said, Kevin would get all the Grandma votes. Not quite sure where Bucky got his votes from though:confused:

i read an article on MSNBC.com this morning, that said Giddeon was upset that they didnt give him more exposure during the audition shows. apparently his story is touching, in that he had to raise money to fly from memphis to denver (or whereever) to audition, and this was after his father died

the article said that the more exposure you get during the audition shows, the better chance you have as you develop a fan base

he was really pretty good imo and is much better than 3 of the men that are there now....he was pretty classy last nite for a 17 year old
