Spring is in the Air..AkA I can't wait to get tanked at the river.

Anyone else have any good spring or early summer plans? I will be doing my annual river float trip during the memorial holidays. This will make it the 5th year in a row for me.

I am old, and I'm a local, so I normally avoid the lake and river on the big holiday weekends when all the city folks show up.:)

Yeah, I don't blame you. I know a girl who is a manager at one of the camps up there and she HATES the big holiday weekends. I don't blame her, it can get crazy at times.

One year there was a stabbing, another year someone went around buring picnic tables for firewood. (Something like 8 tables, which he had to pay back at like 200 bucks a pop)

Its really pretty up there though. Probably my favorite place in Oklahoma.

Well it will be probably pretty low. I will never ever take a canoe again. We usually have a pretty big group of us going, the more people the better.

This will be our 5th year in a row.

Well hopefully it will get a good 2 or 3 weeks of rain right before memorial weekend, and NOT rain that weekend.
