Wow that is so shocking and sad.I wasn't that old but I remember that Game 6 homerun in the '89 World Series to force a Game 7.RIP Kirby.

that body could run and jump though man. I'll never forget that homer he stole over the fence in the WS.

He never once publically blamed the end of his career to being hit in the head by a pitch. which everyone says pretty much lead to his glaucoma. But, I think if you look at the end of his life he was a lost soul after that day.

Kirby may you find in heaven the peace you were not able to find here on Earth in your last few years.

The 91 series may be the best series ever played. Games 6 and 7 of that series were phenomonal.
