My sister in law and brother in law came and and put faux finish on our walls in our house and they came out great!

The faux finish really toned down the bright colors that were on the wll and gave the walls depth.

I was worried about those walls when I saw the pics without faux finish.

Faux finish is nice and most people don't realize how tedious the work is that's involved in putting it on. Yours looks really good.

also, I wasn't too wild about the design of the house when I first saw it (I'm not a big fan of symmetry or gables), but it's really turned out awesome.

Faux finishes take a lot of time to do, but are well worth the effort IMO.

Looks great man. I admit, I was worried too about that BRIGHT orange you had in the other pics...but turned out awesome.

we did the home and garden show here in dallas this weekend, and saw a "faux" exhibit

walked right on by it.....i knew that stuff was fake

Indeed. Before the application of the faux-finish, it looked like you had chosen to live inside a giant canteloupe.

Nice work. But one question: why do you want the walls to have depth? Aren't they standard size right now?
