So I'm stuck out here north of Pampa on this no drillin' rig now for 3 weeks with no signs of getting home any time soon. Needless to say I'm a little homesick. I get very limited cell service, well, none really. I've been having to communicate via Yahoo Messenger. Of course my wife hogs the computer when we're talking & that's fine, but I do miss the kids. I IM'd her tonight & about 10 minutes later my 10 year old typed in that Mom's asleep, so I had a nice little conversation with her. She even turned on the web cam I set up before I left--the one my wife can't figure out for some reason. I got to see my two girls (the boy was snoozin') making faces and sticking their tougues out at me. I feel better now. Being detatched from the family for weeks or months at a time is the succ.
