They aren't have very much luck with QB's lately...

Redshirt freshman quarterback Ike Whitaker was suspended from the Tech football team yesterday, following an arrest Wednesday on a charge of underage purchasing/possession of alcohol. Whitaker, who is 18, was arrested in Blacksburg and was suspended for "violation of team rules" in a hokiesports.com news release. The news release said that VT would have no further comment on the matter.


Yea, big deal guys. None of our players do this at all. :rolleyes:

You gotta be kidding me. If you don't think the players on our team drink before 21 you're delusional. Hell, I drank with 3 of them last night. Because I'm being realistic I'm going to be portrayed as the epotime of negativety?

well, were you calling for him to be kicked off the team?

calling VT "Thug U" might be a bit harsh for this case, since they may have been more strict than we were in a similar situation

personally, i think that the fact that the majority of college aged kids can't drink legally is ridiculous though
