I like it there too. Most best camping in the state.
And let me beat those so inclined to sploosh to the punch:
SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH! SPLOOSH!

That's just because there are more hillbilly *** people in Leflore county than anywhere else in the state....maybe Latimer has more.

Isn't that where the Viking Rune Stone is located (i.e., LeFlore county)?

If ya'll ever been in the Kiamichis you could see how something like it could be living there in obscurity. I mean, if it existed, which it does, I think.

My step-dad was pastor at a church just outside of Heavener, in the "logging community" of Forrester. Great little church and wonderful people, but DEEP in the WOODS

I find it strange that I spent 18 years there and NEVER heard one bigfoot story. Ever.

I've read some since then, from similar sites. I'm just saying I never heard anyone talk of it while living there.

Some folks wouldn't talk about it even if they had seen it.
Ridicule, you know.

Well, it would be a unique thing, wouldnt it?
I imagine if I personally didn't want to be seen in that forest, I wouldn't be.
So just imagine this scenario with an intelligent creature.
:)
He/It was spotted crossing the road not 3 miles from where I camp recently.

I once tried to have breakfast at the Heavner diner.
There was a line to get in, it was full of smoke, and the food was horrible.
I mean bad.
And no, I didn't see Bigfoot.
