From the Oklahoman's game story by Justin Harper:

“I was just trying to stand my ground and make the referee make a call,” Eaton said. “He was either going to call a charge or call what he called.”

In basketball coaching at all levels, there are stock phrases you are required to use at pain of losing your membership in the basketball coaches fraternity: "Move Your Feet" is one. "Hands Up!" is another. But when your team is defending a 90 foot prayer with a one point lead and four seconds to go, the only stock phrase that has ever been uttered by any coach in any game since the first peach basket was nailed to a wall at the Springfield Y is, "DON'T FOUL!!!!!"

Hail to thee, O Mighty Aggy Philosopher Byron Eaton! You mangaged to turn 100 years of basketball fundamentals upside down. Not only did you foul, you INTENDED A FOUL TO BE CALLED.

Priceless Aggy logic. You know, if it weren't true, no one unfamiliar with Aggy would believe it.
