View Full Version : Anybody want to go on vacation?

I'm off until the 10th of March and am going to be spending all my time out in the beautiful Ozark hills of Arkansas. I will be laying about 1500 Square feet of tile and putting Faux Finish on a few walls if anyone wants to come by.:)

I recently put down about 100 square feet of tile in bathrooms, and never want to do that again - EVAR!

My Son does tile for a living kind of I will be his helper. Inlawas are coming in to help with Faux finish!

Sounds like you have good help. Putting down tile was harder work than I thought it would be. Not difficult, but just hard work - especially hard on the knees an back.

I am thinking about renting a house up at beaver lake for a few days during spring break. Beautiful place that is!

not sure. Was looking at some places off of vrbo.com. Something nice thats on the lake, has 3 rooms, a deck, lets my dogs stay and is somewhat nice.

Got any suggestions?

Don't know of anything for sure. Google Eureka Springs and you should come up with something.

laying the tile will be a breeze compared to the faux finish painting. regular painting is terrible enough.

I've stayed in several cabins but none in the state park itself. There are TONS of cabins in that area at about whatever price range you want to look at. I don't know how far in advance you'd need to reserve them though.

Look around online, like I said.....there are a lot of choices there.
