T Booger Pickin's Stadium (http://www.osustadiumpics.com/)

This site is dedicated to one of college football's oldest football stadiums, Boone Pickens Stadium at Lewis Field. http://www.osustadiumpics.com/EZAlbums/2006_Future_Images/01-12-2006.Updated_Image_of_the_Stadium.800-526.jpg The field opened in 1913 watching the Oklahoma A&M Aggies win four of five home games, only losing to their in-state rivals, Oklahoma by a score of 0-7.

What... no upper deck? How do they think they're going to cram that 72,000 they're going to pull every game into that band box... What's that you say?... They don't even sell out and fill their 48,000 current seats for every game?...Well, I'm sure if they build it they will come.... from K-State, Nebraska, Oklahoma....

This is sad, really. All those ags want is a winning season and a sniff of a Big XII title....now they try to get there by spending as much moo-la as possible on one program at one time, and they're STILL not going to be able to beat OU, UT, or get close to a Big XII trophy...sorry Boone, money can't buy everything....

this could wind up being a good, or a really bad thing for other BIG 12 opponents. Having lived in Tulsa, OKC-Norman, Dallas, and San Antonio-- I can tell you the quickest bandwagon schools are OU (hate to admit it, but it's true), UT, and OSU. I really don't think I can stomach seeing "The STATE'S University" crap anymore than we're already seeing it. Go ahead and build your village loSur, I hope to see many home losses there in coming years.

Why do people like orange anyway???

Putting aside for a second that they won't fill the place unless they start winning more consistently.... It is very much an improvement. Once it is 100% complete it will be one of the better stadiums in the Big XII. And I think that is good for the state not to have an absolute embarrassment of a stadium residing in one of the supposedly two "major" programs of the state.

Should be loud as heck... Which will make it all that much more fun to silence them.

Why don't we have a website dedicated to our dang stadium with cool 3d pics? Somehow the ags give more of a s***?

[aggie] well, they say the north pole and the south pole are going to switch eventually. in that case, it would face west/east. so there!!! [aggie]
