heh. I don't mind that they are capitalizing off the ideas of C&H...hell, I don't even care if it's any good...at 7 bucks, its worth it for the novelty of actually making such a book...

A fictional story from the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calvin_and_Hobbes). It is Calvin's favorite bedtime story and is read to him by his dad. His dad often tires of telling the story, and so he makes up newer, scarier stories to tell Calvin, such as the story of the disembodied hand.

Dad: What story would you like tonight, Calvin?
Calvin: Hamster Huey and the Gooey Kablooie!
Dad: Oh no, not again! That's what you hear every night! Let's read something different.
Calvin: I WANT HAMSTER HUEY! I WANT HAMSTER HUEY!
Dad: C'mon, we'll read a new story tonight. You'll like it, I promise.
Calvin: No I won't! I'll stay awake until morning if you don't read Hamster Huey!
Hobbes: I didn't remember Hamster Huey having quite that sarcastic tone of voice.
Calvin: Or doing everything so fast.

Agreed. It's not like any of the C&H stickers on my truck are licensed. And no he's not peeing or praying.

I've got a Hobbes face, Calvin Face, Spaceman Spiff, and C&H in the time travel box. Mohawk Music used to sell them.
