Texas A&M they have had some good recruiting classes and are now a full team in my opinion i think we lose because we will play in their stadium but with the team well have next year we might be able to pull out the win:)

Think about it we watched them almost beat us in our house last year with that like almost all freshman team. With Goodson going to them and that big boy in the back field that they already have i just dont see how they cant be good

I think OU is the toughest team A&M will face, from Trample's article on Wed -

Another Big 12 football school has gone to the dark side.
http://www.newsok.com/images/columnists/story_mug_btramel.jpg ([email protected])

The latest white flag has been waved by Texas A&M, a proud football school that in the first 10 years of the Big 12 played non-conference games against the likes of Brigham Young, Florida State, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Clemson.
Those days are gone. The Aggies in 2006 will play only Cajuns or soldiers: The Citadel, Louisiana-Lafayette, Army and Louisiana Tech. All but Army at A&M's Kyle Field; the Aggies play the Cadets at San Antonio.
That's embarrassing for a school that once valued competition. That's embarrassing for a conference that claims the Aggies among its elite.

See something in them? What do you see positive in a team that has done nothing but regress under the current Coach? Exactly what do you see in a team with basement rankings in defense and offense? WTF?

I guess when you're in the toilet you can only go up. And I would know. But the toughest challenge to OU next year? http://content.clearchannel.com/Photos/food/kool_aid.jpg

Are we playing the team that won the NC last year? Realistically, with all that will be on the line, they would be the toughest team we'll play.

But, from a child's point of view you could make the argument for any opponent.

Well, according to at least one recruit, A&M will be the most highly paid team OU plays next year.

OK, I can see that Kyle is probably the toughest place to play in the Big XII. I can see that we have had problems there in the past. But our toughest game? When we have to travel to Oregon (who is a better team than aTm, and further away) and play defending National Champ saxet? The aggots lose the best QB in probably their history in Reggie McNeal (who will likely be replaced by either Stephen McGee or Ty Branyon), and their best defender in Jaxson Appel (who they may not ever replace). Franchione hasn't exactly inspired much confidence in the aggot faithful and losing two defensive coaches won't help, even if they had the worst pass D in the nation last year. The only thing that even gives aTm a chance is their stadium. If we take the corps of cadets out of the game, it won't even be close. OU 35 - aTm 7

I dunno, that Middle Tennessee State looks awful good this year...

(whispers) who are they again?

If we survive Oregon and Texas, we'll be fine. Oregon gave us a good run for our money in the HB, and they lose about the same amount of upperclassmen we do, so that could be a nightmare on Duck Street. VYU lost their offensive coordinator to the NFL draft, so we should be able to contain their offense. But UT still has a defense that I've seen as comparable to our 1999-2001. No Roy Williams, but you get the picture. People said we were had a weak run to the title game in 2000, but look how our competition panned out. If all 14 of our games (hehehe) go right down to the wire, I won't complain... that was what was really a great thing about 2005, the games always seemed like one or another was going to own their opponent, USC/TX, PSU/FSU, Oregon/Oklahoma... just to name a few... and all of those and many others throughout the entire season were seemingly great games.

A sooner win is enough to make me happy, throttling all of your opponents may be fun, but it is always a bad omen. Look at our 2003 season, USC 2005, etc. If it's triple overtime and Oklahoma beats Texas by a safety, the win is the win. That's what I think were mostly all in agreeance on here at SF.com

There was only 2 teams last year we just blew out. The rest of the games probably could have been or could have been losses. If we play like we did last year almost every game will be tough to win. I don't know if we have guys capable of blowing out many teams.
