What do they teach these kids at UT?

"The first house I buy will be the one with the blue roof on it that says "IHOP." It has been a dream of mine to own my own International House of Pancakes, and someday I will. Just last week I ate there five or six times, and about every time I got the same thing, pancakes and shrimp. It's a cool feeling to know that someday I'll get to eat at my IHOP whenever I want."

I'm not sure what is more bizarre, wanting to own an IHOP, or getting pancakes and shrimp.

I thought this was going to be a story about the Huston Huffman Center adding an IHOP counter.

Wasn't it Lewis Black that said IHOP was his favorite gym? Because no matter how big you were, there were always people there that were 200 lbs heavier...

Pancakes and shrimp? Offhand I can't think of many worse combinations than that. Ice Cream and Gravy? Peanut Butter and Ham?

Mashed potatoes with whipped cream?
Waffles with spaghetti sauce?

Seems logical, since most of the whorn players like the chronic so much.

Only two words come to mind when I hear people who love IHOP:

Late-night.

Munchies.

Waffle House kicks IHOP's ***. Hands down, no question or debate.

The last word in late-night munchies is Chico's Tacos in El Paso, there is nothing else like it.:texan:

Mmmmm...Waffle House. Chili on the hash browns, with cheese and onions. For breakfast.

So we not only kicked OU's butt this year, we did it while we were stoned. Excellent! Ricky would be proud.

covered, smothered, scattered, splattered and colated

I just yell at the cook when I sit down at the bar, " Order over lite with bacon, scattered, smothered, peppered, covered." And then thell the waitress that I'be having the sweet tea.

Can the Waffle Houses even stay open after the new smoking ban goes into effect? Those places are the last haven for chain smokers.

I once had fruit loops, toast, and kippers for breakfast.

My wife has since banned kippers from the house altogether. :(

Late night, after-the-party munchies. Anybody out there remember Denco's??Denco's was something VERY unique. I think all their waitresses were outpatients at Central State Hospital; their menu and their management style will not be matched anywhere.('63-'67).:P
