I'd like to answer your question in two ways. Firstly, in my normal voice, and then, in a sort of silly high-pitched whine.

Graham was openly gay long before it was socially acceptable, and was open about his long-term relationship with writer David Sherlock, who lived with him for 24 years. Together, the two adopted and raised a teenage runaway named John Tomiczek.

He ended up becoming QB of the Chicago Bears, among other teams.

That may be, but the surviving Pythons recounted various tales of Graham's wild gay sexcapades including anecdotal accounts of his taking rooms in "Gay" hotels in Germany for weeks at a time. Further, Idle mentioned wherever they filmed, some new random gay stud always happened to turn up to hang out with Graham. IOW, Graham was apparently a gay horn-dog. NTTAWWT.
