I just got a call from ConAgra who got a copy of my resume, and is interested in interviewing me. This intrigues me, and I will need a job when I am done with school. Either way I am excited.

I just scanned their brand lineup, and with the exception of Pam and Marie Callendar's, they all suck. But that doesn't mean anything, really. Good luck with the job hunt! There is little better than the feeling of relief when you realize that you won't have to live off your parents for the next 10 years.

I would more than likely end up more on the input purchasing side, buying commodies and what not.

Had a friend at a previous place of employment who bought all the meat for the entire HEB grocery chain. High stress job...

But not for ConAgra. They're the parent company of Hunt's, Swiss Miss, Wesson, etc.

A good friend of mine from college is a Manager in some segment or other for commodities buying/trading for CA. If I remember correctly, she buys for pretty much everybody. I'll see her this weekend, so I could find out more.
