One time in amersterdam I was in a bar named absinthe...and I asked for an absinthe shot.

Lady said they couldn't sell me absinthe, but her friend made it and she could sell that to me. So I took a shot of that...eh....but whatever.

Came back later and told her it was the weakest shot I have had EVAR...actually I told her I have had stronger water (of course by this time me and sober had parted ways some time ago)

She looked suprised and scared when I asked for a shot of the strongest thing in the bar...but she calmly reached up on the top shelf behind several bottles and pulled out a dusty bottle with a cork in it.

Now I was scared....so I asked what it was called....she says, "oh it doesn't have a name. they use it in switzerland to warm people up when they get trapped under icebergs and their hearts stop beating." Now folks that is a hell of an intro to any shot. The look in her eye told me she was about to yell pwn3d to aother cocky american.

So I took the shot and almost exploded...felt like flames were shooting out of every part of my body. (to this day still can't compare it to anything)...and 4 hours later every burp sent fresh heat waves throughout the body.

It was awesome......and I didn't even yak thanks to my powerwalking and jedi mind control powers.

it was like drinking fuel that was on fire. I would have taken a bite out of the sun to cool off the fiery hell that was going on inside.

I remember one of my friends played a prank on another friend with a drink we had just named "The Mexican". While the guy wasn't looking, about 3 shots worth of the stuff was poured into his drink. I think that was the night where he locked himself in the bathroom and fell asleep in the bath with the water up to his nose.

I drank way too much Absinthe in Prague, kind of makes you feel like you're on shrooms... Not that I would know the feeling.
