View Full Version : saxet Grads in South Texas and Mexico

I have noticed that saxet fans like to poke fun at the Sooner fan base. I just returned from a mission trip to Mexico and our group's home base was in Weslaco, Texas. I sure noticed a lot of saxet fans at the local Wal Mart in Weslaco and a lot of saxet stuff for sale. Not only did they sell it at Wally World, but the street vendors in Nuevo Progresso had a lot of burnt orange souvenirs as well.

There are certainly a lot of saxet graduates on both sides of the border. I'm not even sure that all of them speak American!:texan:

I think he was speaking of the Saxons. This is actually the first I've heard of German descendents in Mexico - much less Weslaco. Someone - not me - should investigate.

I blame Robin Hood. Without him the saxon power would have been effectively dismantled and we wouldn't be in this situation.

I can go to my local Albertsons and buy OU stuff.
The funniest thing is the big fuzzy houseshoes from another team. They are in bags hanging on a rack. The heel is at the bottom of the bag, which means the other school symbol is upside down. :)
