After he left to play baseball the NBA world was a colder, empty place full of meaningless baskets and futile running about.
I never fully recovered and pitied poor Scottie Pippen.
Kobe I do not like.

Poor Scottie.

If by Jordan, you mean Kobe Therapist, then yes, yes he is.

oh I enjoyed watching him play ball but I get the impression he's a ****bag as a person.
I've sold some work to a Chicago detective dude who said it's common knowledge in up there that Jordan is a first class pr***.:)

I always thought Rodman was a turd.
But liked him exponentially more as a Bull.

I mean, look at you now and you're poor.

well, I'm poor and still a better golfer and baseball player than he is.:)

actually, if I had his coin I would be more pro-active in my community but that's just me.

yes, and I loved Larry Bird's work in it. especially the talking of smack on the par 3 tee box.

"Larry's not white, he's clear..."

As a matter of fact, I don't see a more better All Star Olympic Team than that first one Michael was in.
That was awesum.

Only MJ can pull off that look. Can you imagine Barkley wearing that get-up? Oh my.

That was truly a "Dream Team." The collections of pro ballers since then have been far less cohesive, and far less effective at thoroughly embarrassing the competition, imo.

im just glad i lived to watch that era of ball. the laker/celtic rivalry, pistons/bulls/knicks. i was starting to enjoy the nba til i read this thread and remembered how fun it really was back then. maybe i just have too high of expectations for the nba... the bad boys, watchin jordan become jordan, bird, magic, dr j, the 80's lakers. watching hall of famers in their prime was no doubt awesome, but watching jordan during that was the best part for me. if he wanted it, there was nothing you could do about it but watch it happen.

I've heard that the vast majority of Cohiba's seen in the US, and even touristy caribbean locals, are fake. Is that true?

If Cohiba means 'penis', you're asking the right person.

It sounds like Kobe has at least one thing in common with His Airness.

I've read, and seen, more fakes coming in from Mexico. You can pretty much tell by the quality... but, yeah.... fakes are, or at least used to be, not uncommon.

The CEO Jordan commercials were greatness, especially the one where he sent his All-Star interns to some business college and they just started killing everyone in D-1 basketball.

And the man makes a damn, fine shoe. Especially the Air Jordan XI Space Jame Edition:

You can get a damn fine cigar in S. Florida - hand rolled by a knowledgable Cuban immigrant. I was told they use Connecticut tobacco (I believe). They say the quality comes mostly from the way it's rolled, not the tobacco used. Of course, they were also trying to sell me some, so take that with a grain of salt! ;)

Hey I like this thread so I'm bumping it.

Besides, I've been out with the squirts and missed all the fun.

How would Jordan in his prime do in today's league?

Would he beat Kobe like a step-child?

I say yep.

No one has a snow ball's chance in hades of matching up with MJ in his prime.... except for maybe Ditka.
