1. Get or use a popup blocker.
2. If your computer isn't frozen, which I am assuming by virture of your ability to post, then right click on the appropriate status bar at the bottom of the page, click on close.

If you have a firewall, turn off your internet connection before you try to close it. I had one pop-up that turned each one of my windows into pr0n when I tried to close the first one.

Yes, I have a popup blocker. Yes, some pop-ups do get thru.

Do a printscreen and post the image on here. I have a clue of what is your problem, but i need to see it to make sure. If it is what I think I know how to get rid of it.
