I think KS is on the verge of approving concealed carry permits. I expect you'll have to be 23 like in OK to get one, but reciprocity will mean your KS permit will have effect in OK.:D
Therefore, you'll soon be able to legally pack heat in OK as has long been your dream -- except on campus.
Further, OK has a statute that private companies can't deny concealed carry permit owners the right to keep a gun locked in their car on company property. That law is currently tied up in the courts because some arsehole anti-gun judge in OK thinks its bogus, but I predict it will come out okay because the US Supreme Court has always held state legislatures have the power to regulate firearms within their states' borders as they see fit.
