I can't talk the wife into treking up to Tinseltown for Capote, so I think we're renting. We don't watch a lot of movies, mainly because I like comedys and horror and she likes romantic comedies.

What should we rent? I'm thinking some kind of psychological thriller. We haven't seen a lot of movies lately, any really good ones you guys can suggest?

Last one I rented was "Crash" which was very good. Should appeal to both women and men. The movie deals with the biases we all have. A thought provoking movie and very entertaining.

I'm watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid right now. That's always a good choice.

I just watched The Constant Gardener and Kill Bill VI and VII. Both worth watching if you have already seen the Metallica documentary.

if you were wanting to go see Capote, rent Finding Neverland instead. I think you'll like it. If you want something a little darker, go for Quills.

edit: oooh, or Suspect.

Mrs. OU-HSV and I just got done watching a movie called "The Big Easy" on Encore. Pretty clever suspense movie but the actors had the worst fake cajun accents ever.

Sounds like you plan to have electricity all weekend, that's a good sign. How's the weather there..lots of snow on the ground ?

Not too bad, a little snow and sleet. Some of the roads have been cleared off, but I haven't left the house all day.

Yeah I've stayed in all day as well, other than when I brought some firewood in. Looks pretty slick and my driveway is steep (If I backed out I may end up in the house across the street.)
