Does anybody know if he's healthy? Will he be participating in Spring Drills? I ask because he had some moments of real brilliance before he totally brainfarted against the Condoms and then got hurt. I would love to see him starting again.

Anybody know if they are seeking Med Redshirt for him?

I just want to see a secondary like the one we had in 2000. My guess is that Walker and Wolfe on the Corners with Reggie and Nic Harris will be that combo, ultimately. I only hope Walker is healthy this year. Two lockdown corners is a must.

Can't ask for a medical redshirt until after he completes his senior season.

He will not participate in spring drills. He should be ready for the fall.

Is it bad to not have much confidance in Marcus Walker and D.J.Wolfe next season?

i dont know, i thought dj was alright. The fact that he seemed, at least to me, to improve a lot from the beginning of the season to the end seems like a good sign. Seeing as how it was his first year of CB.

I dont think he'll ever be a no. 1 CB, but he did better than i expected.

I thought Walker (with the exception of the OB) and Wolfe looked pretty good in their starts.

I've been more than pleased with Wolfe's emergence at corner, I know he wasn't doing so hot in the beginning of the season, but no one in the secondary was doing a standout job. They really turned things around toward the end of the season, and DJ didn't allow a long pass at all on his side of the field for the second half of the season. Though he isn't Derrick Strait (that's asking a whole heck of a lot), he sure will be a good corner. If he and Walker, and whomever it may be to take the other side can get their assignments down I believe we'll have a secondary nearly as good as old. Now Safeties on the other hand, well Reggie Smith and I believe either Nic Harris or Darrien Williams will solidify those positions.

Prob. use Latimer as a Roy-Back type Defensive Back.

That would be cool. Latimer is fast.

Why Latimer? He was our worst cover LB... However, Baker has moved back to LB, so take that for what it's worth...

Baker is back at LB???? He's still a little over 200 pounds...wonder who the new safeties are going to be

Probably Nic Harris and either Darrien Williams or Keenan Clayton.
