After the intentional foul - they missed both ft's, then turned the ball over. Everett drove the length of the court and made a layup. Then I think Stinson made 1 of 2 ft's. Neal came down and made a 3. Can't remember what they did, but then we went down and Everett took a bad shot, but Neal got the rebound, and took a 3 and was fouled. He made all 3 ft's - with 8 seconds left, Stinson went down and we played real good defense on him - he ended up taking a wild shot and that was it.

They all give us games...we seem to do well with south teams generally, but we struggle with KSU up there, with CU up there, NU up there, Mizzou both places, ISU both places, and KU both places (mostly there).

Need to continue to find ways of winning to not end up playing a high mid-major in the 1st round of the NCAA's.

Neal is just an all out monster. Need to have Taj and Bookout step it up for the stretch run.

As I see it, we've lost three games we had no business losing: Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas.

We've also won two games we've had no business winning: at Texas A&M and today against Iowa State.

Hopefully, we get the third win to even up the season the first Monday of April in Indianapolis.

I just don't understand why this team can't pull it together like most of Kelvin's have? This team is far more talented (exception 2002) than most of the others, they can patch their weakness (no PG) but as a team they just are not jellin'. What gives?

I would agree that OU didn't deserve to win, not with the way we played defensively. It just ****es me off how they get excited about possible sanctions. Talk about inferiority. Taking joy in someone elses tough times is just bush league.

Actually I think personnel wise Iowa St is the toughest match-up for our team. Tougher than even the whorns because we match-up pretty well with them.

Sooner04's obsevation is right on. This win was the anti-Kansas game. Mind you with a couple foul calls we would have won there too but you have to know that ISU fans are knocking back a few :eddie: trying to figure out what went wrong.

KU got a lot of momentum after beating us. Hopefully we get the same here and get a win in Lubbock. Colo and Neb both did us a favor and gave us back the inside track to a 3-seed.
